Fashion Week Fall 2015

Posted in

As the last glint of summer begins to fade, we take comfort in the warmth of all that autumn has to offers. With the golden foliage, crisp air and bountiful harvest ahead, a new season signals new beginnings. Whether it’s the start of a new semester or the personal turning over of a ‘new leaf’ (no pun intended), the weather-induced changes of fall makes us want to reinvent ourselves. So at Roberto Coin, we are taking a close look at our closets and jewelry boxes with the intention of a necessary refresh.

Ahead, we have rounded up the top five trends from Fall Fashion Week 2015, and we have repurposed them to incorporate into our own wardrobes. From bright colors, to lush textures and classic silhouettes, this season’s trends span a full spectrum. Prepare to dig out the crushed velvet from the back of your closet, because there is plenty of room for reinvention this fall! Click the photos to see product details.

There is no limit when it comes to color. In fact, we encourage you to mix-and-match them all! Seen on the runways of Prada and Fendi, if your imagination is endless, use your body as a canvas. Shop the Roberto Coin Prasiolite Cocktail ring.

Think black lace (and a lot of it), velvet (dresses, skirts, pants, you name it), neckties and high collars. This look echoes a distinct era of the past, but of course incorporates much more to feast your eyes on. Although Victorians emphasized ‘covering-up’, Alexander McQueen and Sergio Rossi’s 2015 collections encourage subtle displays of skin and cleverly placed bows. Shop the New Barocco Single Row bangle.

The symbolic changing of the leaves represents a new season, and it also brings about some comfort and warmth. So why not pop open a bottle of wine, and enjoy the best burgundy there is to offer? Crimson hit the runways of Simone Rochas, Givenchy and Chloe with puissance this year, and they’re sure to be a hit in your own wardrobe this fall. Shop the Golden Gate ring.

Didn’t anyone tell you? Forget orange – muted pastels for fall are the new black. Throw in some tactile embellishments and strategic layering, and you’ll be seeing life through rose-colored glasses in no time. Take a hint from the runways of Prada, Miu Miu and Dries van Noten. Shop Pois Moi Double Row diamond bangle.

As the new semester begins, so do those classic American staples: school boy blazers, sturdy wool capes and enough glen plaid and hounds tooth to last for days. Rodarte, Chloe and Proenza Schouler have put a fresh spin on these signature styles to bring you into the new ‘term’. Shop Princess earrings.
